In our effort to procure the best diamonds in the world for our clients we work exclusively with GIA. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA)is the premier diamond analysis laboratory in the world and also the most well-known. They are responsible for the 4C’s and creating the universal standard by which diamonds are graded. The 4C’s of the diamond industry are cut, clarity, color, and carat weight.

Designs By Kamni works exclusively with GIA which enables us to give our clients the peace of mind that they are receiving the highest quality certified stones. In fact all of our gemologists are GIA certified and we bring that world renowned training and skill to every project we engage in. However, for those clients who simply don’t want to pay the premium associated with GIA certified stones we do work with other smaller diamond laboratories and non-certified stones if and as requested.

The GIA is an international non-profit organization dedicated to producing consistent, accurate and unbiased grading reports. Diamonds graded by the GIA are the most highly valued and respected in the industry. Each stone is graded twice, by different graders, to ensure they arrive at the same grading report.

GIA developed their grading system so you can choose a diamond without seeing it, yet still trust you’re getting exactly what you selected.
